KSI will "delete everything" if he loses to short-notice replacement Swarmz

KSI has promised to drop off the face of the earth if he loses to short-notice replacement Swarmz in his boxing comeback fight.

YouTube star KSI was supposed to fight Alex Wassabi at The O2 arena on August 27, but the American pulled out of the fight after suffering a concussion. KSI's bitter rival Jake Paul had offered to take the fight for free and cut down to his weight of 180lb, but the Brit opted instead to delay the fight until next year and instead fight novice rapper Swarmz.

Swarmz, real name Brandon Scott, is a British rapper who doesn't have any boxing experience on record ahead of his ring debut against KSI. The fight has been mocked by fans with Swarmz also appearing in a t-shirt on the official fight poster. KSI has now put more pressure on his shoulders ahead of his first fight in three years by stating: "Imagine if I lost to Swarmz, honestly I would probably delete everything, I'm gone. I'll see you later, I would leave the Sidemen. I'd be selling my shares and I'm f****ng off. You'd never see my face again."

KSI apologised to his fans for the change in opponent but insisted that he is trying to put together YouTube boxing events that people care about. Taking a dig at Paul's previous events, KSI said: "When it comes to a Jake Paul event, all he focuses on is himself. Maybe his girlfriend Serrano, but asides from that does anyone know who the undercard is? I'm here building an organisation, I'm building up all these fighters and YouTubers. Jake Paul only cares about himself."

The undercard for KSI's fight against Swarmz features several YouTube stars such as Sam Hyde, Fousey and KSI's brother Deji. The fight marks KSI's first since outpointing Logan Paul in their professional rematch three years ago and the Brit has promised to face a tougher opponent after getting through Swarmz.

"I haven't fought in three years, this is supposed to be a warm-up fight. Nobody is supposed to care who I fight because I'm going to beat them anyway. Even if they try their hardest, they are not going to beat me. Like I said before whether it's Alex or it's Swarmz, I'm fighting so I can get rid of the cobwebs and be active again in the boxing scene," he added.

"After Swarmz, do you think I'm just going to be fighting nobodies? Of course not, I'm going to be upping the levels. There's a long-term goal in all of this, it's not just beating Jake Paul. It's about creating YouTube boxing events that everyone is excited for. I'm trying to make something bigger than just one-off YouTube boxing events."
