KSI has shown off a remarkable seven-month body transformation after losing over 30lb for his fight with Alex Wassabi.
The British star - real name JJ Olatunji - will return to the ring for the first time in over two years when he takes on YouTube rival Wassabi at London's O2 arena on August 27. KSI had a period out of the ring to focus on his music and YouTube careers after defeating Logan Paul by split-decision in their 2019 rematch.
During that time, he was outside of training camp so was unable to focus on his boxing fitness which saw him put on weight. However KSI has displayed his remarkable seven-month body transformation on Instagram, with the caption: "TikTok age restricted my video because it mistook my chest for tits. So I'm going to just post it here."
The post shows KSI in a video displaying significantly larger physique which is dated at January 1 this year. The video then transitions to him now where he flaunts a ripped six-pack and shows he is clearly is in sensational shape for his comeback to the boxing ring.
KSI claimed during the press conference face-off that he had lost over 30lb to fight Wassabi, as he looks to get back on track in his boxing exploits. “I lost 30 pounds for you, so you can’t give me all this s**t like, ‘Aw man, I had to go up in weight.’ I lost over thirty pounds for you!,” KSI said during the event. “I can go down, and keep going down.”
The British star is yet to lose one of his boxing fights having first beaten Joe Weller in a white-collar bout which propelled YouTube boxing into a mainstream aspect of the sport. He then fought Paul in an amateur clash which ended in a draw before the pair put on a huge event in their maiden professional appearances.

KSI will have an added motivation for this fight against Wassabi, with the American having outpointed his brother Deji on a fight card earlier this year. A win for the hugely-successful star could see him one step closer to settling his rivalry with Paul's brother Jake who is expected to be in attendance at the fight.
KSI broke his nose in training recently and Wassabi believes the fight would have been pushed back if the same injury had occurred ahead of a meeting with Paul.
"If he was fighting Jake Paul and he broke his nose that would be pushed back," he said. "But I don't know, it's his mistake to make, Deji underestimated me too and didn't put the work in. I think KSI is definitely going to put the work in and I think he's going to be the toughest fight I'm ever going to have."
