KSI showers rival Joe Fournier in money before tense face-off ahead of YouTube fight

KSI showered rival Joe Fournier in $1,000 worth of cash as the pair nearly came to blows during a tense final press conference.

YouTube star KSI is set to return to the ring tomorrow night on the seventh card held by his Misfits Boxing promotion where he will take on Joe Fournier at Wembley Arena. A win for 'The Nightmare' could see him earn a huge mega-fight with British star Tommy Fury who recently beat his bitter rival Jake Paul by split decision in Saudi Arabia.

KSI and Fournier came face-to-face at the final press conference in London and the trash talk began from the offset, with both men vowing to end the fight before the final bell. However the British star was on much better form this time, and decided to offer his rival a new bet.

He vowed to buy Fournier's Bonbonniere nightclub with the $1,000 claiming that would be what it's worth after he claimed he would knock him out in their showdown. He then proceeded to pick up the cash from a bag next to him and throw it across the table in the face of his rival Fournier.

Money continued to spill across the table on to Fournier and his boxing mentor David Haye, which visibly fired up the ex-WBA international champion. And after the proceedings were finished the pair were brought to the front for a tense final face-off, during which the enemies butted heads and shouted in each others faces.

Just as both fighters appeared to be taking their separate ways following the conclusion, KSI shoved Fournier backwards in seeming revenge for the launch event, during which his rival pulled a similar stunt. The influencer's bet also came on the back of his rival's prank with the star having offered £1million to KSI to buy the Misfits Boxing promotion, insisting that is what it would be valued at if he causes an upset.

Despite his repetitive promise to derail Fournier's career, KSI believes he can go one step further than rival Paul by beating a professional fighter. “I can’t wait to show the world what Jake Paul couldn’t knock out a pro boxer," he said. Each fight, people are seeing a better KSI and I’m honestly scared for Fournier because once I land my right or left hand on his chin, it’s night night.

"As soon as people enter the ring with me, they realise they are in hell. And they either leave the ring bruised, battered or sleeping. In the ring, I am an evil man. A lot of people think I’m going to get slept and I’m out of my depth and that I have no place to be fighting a 9-0 pro. But I am KSI, and I want to show the world that if you put your mind to something, you can do anything in this world."
