KSI fans have reluctantly admitted Jake Paul came out on top during the YouTube pair's recent heated debate.
Paul and KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - have been rivals since the Briton fought Paul's brother Logan in two successive boxing clashes, and have teased a high-profile clash for several years. Late last year, the pair finally agreed to stage a winner-takes-all clash at Wembley Stadium, after KSI relaunched his boxing career with wins over Swarmz and professional fighter Luis Pineda.
This week the pair exchanged words on the phone during a Twitter Spaces session held on the social media website to discuss the chances of a potential showdown being made in 2023. Paul accused the star of being "scared" in a number of messages regarding the clash, and even suggested he was yet to receive a response to a sent fight contract.
Now even KSI fans have claimed the British star was left out in the cold during the recent heated verbal exchanges, with one writing: “Yeah I'm not even going to talk cap, JJ [KSI] took an L here.” Another agreed: “10-8 Jake, unfortunately.” One fan even criticised KSI's fanbase, adding: “Nothing Jake said was wrong in this but KSI fans can’t admit it.”
Another added: "My guy got diced and fried with some onions. It was a tough listen for us KSI fans." One boldly defended KSI, writing: "It is literally impossible for him to win the argument regardless of how much you like KSI and dislike Jake. KSI been really hypocritical lately and doesn't give Jake any respect for what he's done.
"I don't even know if he believes it when he says he will knock Jake out. This isn't an anime show. JJ will get slept if they fought 10 times it would be 10 KO'S. There's a reason JJ avoided Woodley winning the poll." One fan concluded: "The whole situation was an L, it’s impossible for JJ to present any coherent points in an echo chamber of Jake Paul d***riders."

During the altercation KSI was bombarded with claims by Paul that he was ducking a potential clash, with the content creator instead set to face FaZe Temperrr at the OVO Wembley Arena this Saturday. Paul shouted: "I'm ready [fight between pair in the summer]. I agreed to fight you for free and you know that and everyone online knows that on short notice.
"You had me two weeks for free and you still p***ied out. What's in the water in the UK? Because you are all p***ies. You are all ducking bro. KSI hit back: "That's cap [sic] though. You say you are ready but then the negotiations don't say that. You are full of s***. I said what I said at the end of the year. Are you f***ing dumb? I am going to fight you."
