KSI's net worth rockets after YouTube boxer's successful ring return

KSI is now worth £12million thanks to the success of his boxing career and the launch of his Prime drink.

KSI - real name Olajide Olatunji - made his return to the ring after a three-year lay-off last August in a 'two fights in one night' event. 'The Nightmare' knocked out rapper Swarmz and was back in the ring just hours later to also knockout professional boxer Luis Pineda. It marked KSI's first fights since winning his professional debut against former rival turned business partner Logan Paul in November 2019.

Since his two-fight encounter with Paul, the pair have launched the popular hydration drink Prime Energy together. The drink, which is now thought to be worth £18m, has seen people scuffling in UK supermarkets to get their hands on it it. Resellers have even priced Prime bottles for as high as £30 and some parents spent thousands of pounds over Christmas to buy crates of drink for their children.

KSI's triumphant return to boxing, accompanied by the success of Prime, meant he was able to pay himself a £1m dividend off the back of his work. His business, The Throne Holdings Limited, had a massive £1.9m tax bill but is believed to have reserves of more than £5m. KSI was also able to advance himself around £5million from the business, which will be paid back with interest by himself.

The Brit is still uploading frequently to his several YouTube channels, boasting over 41million subscribers. KSI's music career is going just as well as his other ventures, with five of his songs previously breaking into the top five. His recent documentary series which aired on Amazon Prime, KSI: In Real Life , also showed off his luxurious three storey £10million home.

Many of KSI's earnings from his recent fights are unclear, but he earned $900,000 from his 2019 fight against Paul and that figure likely ran into the millions after the fight's huge success on pay-per-view. The fight, which sold 2m buys, cost £9.95 in the UK and $19.99 in the US, meaning the fight grossed an obscene amount of money. Reports also stated their first meeting in 2018 made over £150million, with KSI refuting reports he made £40m for the white-collar clash.

KSI knocked out FaZe Temperrr last month to set up a mega-fight with YouTube rival Jake Paul, the brother of his former opponent Paul. Jake is scheduled to fight Love Island star Tommy Fury in three weeks and KSI has insisted he will fight Fury instead if Paul is beaten by the Brit.
