KSI responds to Tyson Fury's prediction for fight with rival Jake Paul

KSI has boasted that he will feel "fantastic" when he proves Tyson Fury wrong after the world heavyweight champion predicted he would lose to Jake Paul.

The YouTube boxer has been feuding with Paul for the past four years, and the pair will finally settle their differences towards the end of next year. Having taken over two years away from boxing from 2019 when he beat Jake's older brother Logan, KSI is currently getting rid of ring rust with some tune-up fights, and is an underdog for whenever the bout with his rival takes place.

One man who is backing Paul to get the victory is the world heavyweight champion Fury, whose brother Tommy is a rival of the American. Asked during a round of quickfire questions with ESPN ahead of his bout with Derek Chisora last week, the Brit predicted that his countryman would be beaten. Asked who wins Fury said: "Jake Paul all day, every day. I just think he knocks him out cold."

And KSI has responded, saying in a video on his YouTube channel : "Wow, is that it? I mean, look, everyone's entitled to their opinion and I just think his opinion's wrong. He can say whatever he wants, I just think he's wrong and when I get into the ring and show everyone how wrong he is it's going to be fantastic."

Paul is 6-0 as a professional boxer, having stopped four of his five opponents including legendary former MMA world champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. He most recently defeated the iconic former middleweight champion Anderson Silva, dropping him in round eight after a dominant showing in Arizona.

The YouTuber started boxing after being called out by KSI in the start of 2018, deciding to let his older brother face him while he took on younger brother Deji. Logan was unable to beat KSI at two times of asking, drawing their white collar bout and losing their rematch in the professional ranks, while Jake stopped Deji within five rounds.

He then moved on to face AnEsonGib, another YouTuber who had won two white collar bouts on KSI's undercards and has since won his next two fights. From there, he stayed training throughout the coronavirus pandemic and got himself another fight; landing a star-making knockout win over basketball star Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.
