KSI set up a summer showdown with Tommy Fury by handing Joe Fournier a stunning second-round knockout - only for replays to show the YouTuber used his ELBOW.
The influencer stopped 40-year-old 'billionaire' Fournier at Wembley Arena to land his second knockout of the year, and fourth since returning last summer. KSI and his Misfits Boxing promotional team had been hyping up his rival's 9-0 record and former WBA ranking, although eagle-eyed observers would have noted that to call it 'padded' would be an understatement.
The UK A-List were out in force, with Mo Farah and Louis Theroux among the guests who pack out the famous Wembley Arena. And they were treated to a show with some star-making performances, as KSI's brother Deji picked up his second Misfits Boxing win in a row in the co-main event.
KSI opened up with his new wide karate stance that he's learned from training partner Michael 'Venom' Page, sending Fournier to the floor with an MMA-style throw that wasn't scored. His style quickly went back to a standard boxing one as he struggled to control his emotions despite dominating proceedings in the first.
And he sent his rival to the canvas in the second, seemingly with a flush right hand, but it was in fact his elbow. The referee did not see the illegal blow however as KSI sent himself into an August meeting with Fury whose last win was against Jake Paul in February, with KSI hoping to embarrass his long-time foe by defeating his nemesis.
Fury was ringside for the show, and was immediately challenged by KSI for a bout later this year. The YouTuber's Misfits Boxing promotion has booked a date at The O2 arena for August 26, which is expected to be the date for the Fury bout. KSI said: "I want do this, do what Jake Paul couldn’t and knock you out. I want it this year, I’m hungry. I need it, you’re getting f***ed." Fury retorted: "Sign me up, easy money, you are going to sleep in four rounds. No defence, no head movement, you’re getting knocked out. You will be ticked off and Misfits is going to be over."

The co-main event saw KSI's brother Deji make his return to the ring after his exhibition with Floyd Mayweather last November, dismantling rapper Swarmz, who had dropped almost two stone from when he fought the elder sibling last summer. Elsewhere, Salt Papi tasted defeat for the first time at the hands of Anthony Taylor.
On the prelims, 404lb heavyweight Jordie Jordan, known to fans as WingsOfRedemption, stopped fellow super-heavyweight Boogie2988 in a farcical 800lb match-up. The duo struggled to keep their trunks up at times, before the heavier man landed a vicious second round finish.
