KSI has laughed at Jessie Vargas after the former world champion told the YouTube boxer he "doesn't know to how to punch".
Vargas, 33, once held the WBO welterweight title but lost the belt in his first defence against former eight-weight world champion Manny Pacquiao. The American, who hasn't fought since being knocked out by Liam Smith last April, recently gave a scathing take of KSI's boxing skills and shared his concern on Twitter about the YouTuber potentially getting "really hurt" in a fight.
KSI replied to the video by commenting a crying with laughter emoji, to which Vargas replied: “I wish you much success bro. Just giving my humble opinion.” KSI gave somewhat of a hostile response to the former world champion by saying back: “Can have all the opinions you want my g.”
In the video, Vargas said that KSI doesn't have a proper boxing trainer and that is evident by the technique of his punches. "Apparently I’m getting a lot of criticism because I stated in a comment that KSI, the YouTuber, does not know how to train properly and could really get hurt. "I stand by it and I’ll tell you why," he said.

"KSI does not know how to throw a proper punch, there’s no technique behind it. I think this gentleman, this kid, could really get hurt being in the sport of boxing because he’s not doing it correctly. He doesn’t have a proper trainer.
"It’s very noticeable because of the way he’s throwing his punches, because of his technique and I don’t want to see anybody get hurt, especially not in this sport, which I admire and respect so much. I think other YouTubers need to take this sport seriously, this isn’t a game and if you’re going to do it, do it right."
Vargas rated KSI's bitter rival Jake Paul above him by showing respect for the American's commitment to the sweet science. Vargas thinks it's evident that Paul has put more time into boxing than KSI but insisted there are many YouTubers who are just doing the sport "for fun".
“I do respect Jake Paul because he’s really invested the time to learn the sport, but, there’s many other YouTubers who are doing it just for fun, but it doesn’t work like that. You guys are getting hit in the head and just because you want to show off you’re big and tough, but believe me you don’t want to be in this sport just to show your tough.”
