Kristin Cavallari Exposed Scott Disick’s ‘Manipulative’ DMs Amid Her Feud With The Kardashians

Kristin Cavallari has exposed the “manipulative” DMs sent to her by Scott Disick, claiming they were an attempt to reconnect with her amid her feud with the Kardashians.

Cavallari read the DM from her former friend and fellow reality star during a recent episode of her podcast, Let’s Be Honest. With the same energy as a Shakespearean monologue (albeit far juicier), Cavallari said Disick hit her with the “it’s been so long” text (shivers) before making plans to reconnect with the former The Hills star.

“I feel like it would be so good to see you and catch up and talk about the things you’ve got to go through with kids and changing your life around over and over,” Disick’s message read. He went on to say he “really miss[es]” Cavallari and explained why he hadn’t been in touch sooner.

“Wish I would have reached out earlier, just been busy trying to be the best dad I can be,” Disick wrote.

Later, Disick said it was “kind of crazy” how he and Cavallari’s “lives ended up being kind of similar,” which in this case means they’re both orbiters of the Kardashian-verse alongside FoodGod and she who shall not be named (Jordyn Woods).

Disick concluded the DM by admitting that he doesn’t “have time for much” and is “trying to think about myself a little bit again”.

“Hope to hear from you,” he added. “Just text me so it’s easier to chat.”

Cavallari took aim at the “interesting timing” of Disick’s message, since the podcaster has been “ripping on the fucking Kardashians” in recent months. She said the DMs are the “most manipulative” thing she’s ever read, and labelled the whole interaction as “classic textbook manipulation control bullshit”. Yikes.

As for the source of Cavallari’s reaction, well… the pair have a little bit of shared history. As she recalls it, Cavallari and Disick were once besties in the 2010s, and she was even close with his ex-wife, Kourtney Kardashian

“Kourtney and I became really good friends,” Cavallari told listeners. “I really loved Kourtney. We had so much fun together. I liked her a lot.”

As is sometimes the case when people fly too close to the Kardashian ring light, the friendship turned sour in 2011, when Cavallari was spotted partying with Disick in Las Vegas at the same time he and Kardashian were in the midst of a brief break-up.

Naturally, this spawned headlines that the pair had hooked up, but Cavallari denied the speculation and claimed it was Disick who was “100 per cent” behind the rumours.

“I know for a fact [he did it] to piss off Kourtney,” she said. “A lot of times when a girl sees that a guy has moved on, they’re like, ‘I want him back.’ … and it worked, they got back together.”

Cavallari said she and Kardashian discussed the rumours after the couple had reconciled, with the KUWTK star telling her she “would just never put myself in that situation”.

Cavallari — whose podcast again made headlines earlier this month — called the scandal around her and Disick a “great distraction” from Kim Kardashian, who was divorcing Kris Humphries at the time.

You remember, the infamous 72-day marriage? Right after Kim’s diamond earring fell off in the ocean? Ah, those were simpler times, before Disick was sliding into his ex-bestie’s DMs.
