As the cost of living increases, families are constantly looking for ways to save money, while still have the occasional treat. And to felt fight the pinch, Krispy Kreme is offering a 41% discount over the next three Wednesdays.
The firm says it is 'on a mission' to bring joys to its fans despite a spike in living costs. So it has launched the 'Wondoughful Wednesday" offering where the Original Glazed Dozen will cost £7.
To make the whopping saving, you simply have to pop into your nearest Krispy Kreme store and say 'deflation doughnuts' at the cashier's desk. The offer will run on April 27, May 4, and May 11.
Chief marketing officer for UK and Ireland, Emma Colquhoun, said: “We know across the UK millions of people are feeling the pinch of rising inflation and the subsequent impact this has across the cost of living. Here at Krispy Kreme, we don’t want our fans to miss out on their favourite doughnuts.
"We are all about bringing joy now and believe everyone deserves a treat to share with their friends, family and work colleagues so if we can sweeten the blow of the inflation rate with a discount on the Original Glazed Doughnut dozen to help make your dough go further, then that’s exactly what we’ll do.”
