Krispy Kreme customers praise 'amazing' new Valentine's Day doughnuts

Krispy Kreme has announced a new limited edition Valentine's Day range of doughnuts, and curious customers have posted their reactions online.

The Krispy Kreme Love Hearts are heart-shaped doughnuts that come in light pink, mint, canary, and violet colours — and are topped with an iconic Love Hearts sweet.

Krispy Kreme collaborated with confectionary brand Swizzels to produce the romantic-themed treats.

The flavours of the doughnuts are chocolate, strawberry and sherbet, lemon and sherbet, and regular sherbet.

One excited fan shared the news of the product on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, writing: "The sherbet filled Krispy Kreme Swizzels Love Hearts doughnuts will be back this Valentine’s Day!"

Members of the group were quick to share their thoughts, and before long the post had attracted over 1,200 comments.

"I could eat the whole box right now," one eager user said.

"Have ordered mine cannot wait till they arrive," a second wrote.

A third posted: "I am getting some for myself".

"This looks so good," another stated.

A fifth agreed: "These look amazing".

However, not all members of the group were sold on the flavours.

One concerned user commented: "Not sure how I feel about these".

"Too much for me," agreed a second.

A third wrote: "Don’t like Krispy Kreme and they look even worse."

Another user simply commented a vomiting emoji, indicating their negative feelings towards the product.

The Krispy Kreme Valentine's Day doughnuts are available to order online.
