Kris Jenner slammed for flaunting her $20,000 'dish room' as 'people are starving'

Kris Jenner has been slammed for showing off her $20,000 collection of china plates while "children are starving".

The business woman, 66, flaunted her 'mini museum' of crockery on her daughter Kourtney Kardashian's lifestyle website Poosh.

Kris' 'dish room' has row-upon-row of colour coordinated plates and cups, some with her daughter's faces printed on them.

According to Poosh, the matriarch of the famous family has collected the fancy plates for years and the walk-in closet has perfect lighting to highlight each 'rare' piece.

Among the collection is an eight-piece Hermès Africa tableware set, which is made up of three salad plates, two demitasse cups, and three saucers and costs $550.

She also has three Hermès Africa Green plates, which are just over $460 each.

As well as her huge Hermès collection, she is a fan of Gucci china too and has a Herbarium teapot which has a price tag of $640.

She also has a whole personalised collection for each of her daughters - which feature whole plate sets with illustrations of their faces.

While some fans were stunned by Kris' room, not everyone was impressed (@ivansocal/Instagram)

But fans found the display a little tone-deaf, criticising Kris' extravagant room and for her using her wealth on dinner wear rather than helping others.

"This dish room is as big as my bedroom," noted one person.

Another pointed out, "There's children starving and then there's people collecting dinnerware..."

Criticising Kris' daughter's article on Poosh, one person wrote: "Kourtney, there’s people that are dying."

"PUT SOME FOOD IN THOSE PLATES AND GO FEED SKID ROW," another hit out on Instagram.

"I can’t help but think about homeless people who don’t have anything and then this!?!?"

"This is really sad,' agreed another person. "With so many people starving that this "dish" room would be on Instagram."

But not everyone was repelled by her dish room, one wrote: "This makes me happy."

Another said: "This is heaven for me, I live for this kind of thing."

"What an amazing idea," gushed another commenter. "I'm going to incorporate this into my house build."

Another chimed: "I need a dish / serving ware /room!! And a special closet for my table linens!"

The 'Momager' moved into her $20million home in Los Angeles - next door to Khloe Kardashian 's.

Middle child Khloe's house which is in the gated community of Hidden Hills, California, is still under construction.

This isn't the first time Poosh has shared images the Kardashian Jenner clan's homes.

Previously the lifestyle website revealed Khloe's perfectly organised pantry, which also left readers stunned.

Shelves were filled with crisps, jars of dried fruits, nuts and condiments and sauces.

She also had her own collection of dishes, but it was far smaller than her mum's selection.
