Kris Jenner posted a cryptic message about 'forgiveness' in the wake of the Balenciaga scandal.
The Kardashian family momager took to her Instagram stories to share an important message with her followers after a stressful week or two for all involved with the shamed designer label - including her daughter Kim Kardashian.
Kris, 67, appeared to draw her inspiration for the post from her religious beliefs as she shared a quote from the Bible book of Ephesians to encourage kindness being shown, even in times of adversity.
The post read: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you." She credited the quote adding "Esphesians 4:32."
The move came after a huge backlash this week after the label published an advert that saw thousands take offence at the chosen theme - which appeared to glorify the sexualisation of children and child abuse.
The campaign featured children holding teddy bear bags accessorised with bondage gear and documents referencing a Supreme Court ruling that upheld a law that criminalises child sexual abuse images.
Kim - who has been heavily aligned with Balenciaga alongside estranged husband Kanye West for years - finally spoke out about the controversial Balenciaga campaign days after fans tried to pressure her into denouncing the brand.

And now the reality TV star, 42, has had her say and explained why it took her a short while to make a comment.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the mum-of-four said: "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.
"As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and anything against it should have no place in our society - period."

She continued: "I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again."
Following the ad being launched, Balenciaga issued a statement on social media regarding the photoshoot and apologised to fans for any distress caused by the ad. In it, the company said: "We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children's safety and well-being."
The company has since filed a pair of $25 million lawsuits in connection with the ad campaign against the producers who came up with it for its spring collection promotion.
