Kris Boyson has reportedly signed up to join Celebrity Ex On The Beach just days after it was reported that his ex Bianca Gascoigne might also be appearing in the show.
The 31-year-old, who also previously dated Katie Price, is the latest reality star that is rumoured to be in the upcoming season of the MTV show.
It comes just two months after the pair unexpectedly announced they had split after almost one year of dating.
An insider speaking to The Sun has revealed that Kris' appearance on the show is anticipated to bring some 'explosive clashes'.
"They have barely spoken since the split so the first time they'll come face to face will be on camera," the source told the publication.
They continued: "Bosses are hoping for an explosive clash - or for them to fall head over heels in love again!"
A representative for Kris refused to deny the claims when approached by The Mirror.
Just last week it was reported that Paul Gascoigne's newly single daughter Bianca could be heading to the island for the next instalment of the series.
While both reality stars are rumoured to be joining the cast, the official lineup for the reality dating show is yet to be announced.
Kris and Bianca's blossoming romance made headlines after they appeared to move in together at the start of the lockdown after just one date.
Despite the unusual circumstances, the lovebirds spent the lockdown together and appeared to be on cloud nine while getting to know each other.
It also meant that their relationship milestones were sped up tenfold and the couple had even teased future plans about taking their romance to the next step.
In an interview with FUBAR Radio at the start of the year, Kris teased: “She’s a great girl and I’ve always wanted kids and wanted marriage and stuff like that. So, you never know what will happen.”
Sadly their romance was not meant to be - but it remains to be seen what their rumoured reunion on MTV might lead to.
