Kris Boyd has been trolled over Jota's Celtic return live on Sky Sports.
The flamboyant Portuguese winger is reportedly close to sealing a sensational Parkhead return, with a €10m deal believed to be in place.
Boyd was quizzed on the transfer when covering Rangers' Europa League clash with Manchester United live on Sky Sports News this evening.
Presenter Mark Wedderburn sarcastically asked the pundit if news of Jota's return had made his night: "No, it's definitely the opposite," said Boyd.

"Listen, he was a fantastic player, there is no doubt about that. To get the move, the money Celtic earned, £8m, from what they sold him for. There is a huge gap in there. I'm sure he will want to come back and prove a point."
The 25-year-old made 83 Celtic appearances during his initial two-year spell at the club, contributing to 54 goals.
He won five major trophies along the way, including a treble under the watch of former manager Ange Postecoglou.
Jota will now return to Glasgow from Rennes to write the next chapter of his Celtic story, with Kyogo Furuhashi set to go the other way after touching down in France earlier this evening.
Boyd thinks the Japanese frontman departing will be a considerable blow to the Parkhead faithful: "The one for me, and I think it will worry Celtic fans, would be Kyogo leaving," he said.
"He scores big goals, he's getting to that stage in his career, one big last move, maybe earning top dollar. Celtic, their model, they are not going to break that for anyone. It's good business but goalscorers are hard to come by."
