Rangers legend Kris Boyd kept a poker face when an excitable Celtic fan approached the glass of the Sky Sports studio to gloat amid an impending title win.
But he delivered a cutting remark moments later as he joked the home crowd were gracious in bringing their beach balls to wish Giovanni van Bronckhorst and company well in their Europa League semi-final.
Four more points from a remaining nine will tie up the Premiership for Ange Postecoglou after a 1-1 draw at home to Gers.
They could have had it virtually sewn up on Sunday after Jota's opener but Fashion Sakala hit back to at least prolong the wait to lift the trophy.
But Boyd wasn't too fussed and kept his cool when a supporter approached the glass that allows the pundits to look out onto the pitch, cheering with both arms aloft and clearly with one target for his wind-up in mind.
Inflatable beach balls were seen around all sides of Parkhead in reference to the automatic Champions League place Celtic now look nailed on to clinch, with referee John Beaton even required to remove one from the field of play at a point.
But with Thursday night's second leg to come against RB Leipzig, the grinning former striker later remarked: "I think both teams were wasteful in front of goal.
"But in a match where you don't usually see a lot of respect from the fans, I've got to say, it was fantastic from the Celtic fans today.
"Coming out with respect with the beach balls and inflatables, wishing Rangers all the best in Seville.
"Hopefully that's the case!
"Fair play to them, fantastic, but we've still got a game to win!"
