Kris Boyd has delivered a damning verdict on Rangers' embarrassing loss to Aris Limassol tonight.
Steven Davis took interim charge of the team for the first time since Michael Beale's sacking on Sunday.
And while this defeat was not on the Northern Ireland international, the players have a lot to answer for.
Abdallah Sima was the only bright spark in the game as he scored to make the score 2-1. But that's how the game ended and Boyd was furious watching his former team in action while reporting on the match for Sky Sports.
The ex-Kilmarnock and Scotland striker suggested he would rather take his dogs out for a walk than watch Rangers at the moment.
As the hosts scored a second midway through the second half, Boyd said: "It’s 2-0 to Limassol, and to be honest with you, they deserve it. Rangers have been absolutely woeful here.
"I said it earlier before the game, they’ve struggled to put five passes together, and if I was Steven Davis at the weekend and I’m going off this, I’d be putting myself and Alex Rae to go into the middle of that pitch. It’s 2-0, and they’ve been all over the place.
"There is no togetherness, no fight. Michael Beale has lost his job and Steven Davis has come in, so there’s got to be questions asked of the players. Managers can’t keep losing job after job and this stays the same. The new signings haven’t been good enough."
He added: "Rangers have a lot of work to do, there’s no doubt. Beale has already lost his job, Davis has put a team out and again they’ve let the club down. Performance levels were nowhere near what is required if you’re to be a Rangers player.
"Some of the players really need to have a hard look at themselves, there’s no doubt about it. I’m glad I’m going to go and walk my dog because it’s more exciting than what I have just watched. “The recruitment has been atrocious, it’s so bad. The new players have failed to hit the heights expected of them and some of the other players have been there for too long as well. It’s just not happening at the minute.
"Managers will come and go but there’s only so many times you can see the players going and clapping to the crowd saying sorry. The fans have been let down again tonight."
