The 42-year-old temporarily turned down any physical affection from her fiancé Travis Barker as she underwent the Ayurvedic ritual.
She documented the "sex fast" on her lifestyle website Poosh, calling the experience "crazy".
The reality tv star told Bustle magazine: “Oh my God, it was crazy, but it actually made everything better.
"Like, if you can’t have caffeine, when you have your first matcha, it’s so good.”
The detox specifies a specific diet, supplements and encourages daily meditation and massage.
Kourtney and her Blink 182 beau Travis have been very open about their physical affections for each other.
She has shared plenty of racy snaps of the two of them, including her giving him a lap dance for his 46th birthday.
Although fans weren't too impressed and later branded her "embarrassing" for "half-twerking"
A wedding guest shared a video of Kourtney with her legs around Travis while his band's 'All The Small Things' played in the background.
Weeks before her sex detox she shared her collection of sex toys with Poosh readers including a book about sex and an eye mask.
While she said she isn't afraid to promote "vibrators and porn", she recently revealed how she planned to write a story for her website for "people who are just so into each other and don’t need any of that?"
Travis is also pretty open about the couple's sex life too, after sharing a video of Kourtney sucking his thumb and a snap of them entwined in a messy bed.
The pair also made out with each other in front of Kourtney's nine-year-old daughter Penelope.
Fans hit out at the raunchy pair, calling the moment "inappropriate".
Penelope was seen spinning around in the background, blissfully unaware of her mum and step-dad to be snogging.
Sources claimed that Kourtney has dreams of getting married on Rosewood Miramar Beach - the spot Travis asked Kourtney to marry him in October last year.
After the proposal she shared a slideshow of photos and captioned it: “I woke up all night thinking it was a dream."

An insider told Life & Style: “[Kourtney] is imagining exchanging vows on the beach surrounded by red roses and candles, much like their engagement."
Travis is dad to Landon, 18, Alabama, 16 with his ex Shanna Moakler and Kourtney and her ex Scott Disick share Mason, 12, Penelope, 9 and Reign, 7.
