Kourtney Kardashian shares unusual pregnancy cravings as she ditches strict diet

Kourtney Kardashian has scrapped her strict diet for her pregnancy and demanded the "yummiest food ever" at her gender reveal.

The 44-year-old is expecting her first child with husband Travis Barker and threw a huge gender reveal bash to announce that they were due to welcome a baby boy.

The couple continue to bask in the glow of their announcement, Travis has teased fans that the child already has a name.

As the POOSH founder posted a number of maternity portraits to her social media, she told her followers: "Little drummer boy coming soon."

At the party, Kourtney was surprisingly said to have "no dietary restrictions," despite previously being strict with herself and her kids about what foods they eat.

“In an unprecedented move, Kourtney said NO DIETARY RESTRICTIONS,” a party recap from the reality star's lifestyle blog, Poosh, revealed.

“She wanted to just have the yummiest food possible and lean into her pregnancy cravings.”

The menu was said to have included: “Nachos, popcorn, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, hot dogs, sliders, pizza” and more.

There were also “vegan options of everything" for her husband.

Back in 2019, Kourtney was following the Keto diet - a low carb, high fat diet - but admitted that it can be challenging and she says that "you have to pick your battles," when it comes to what you choose to eat.

She informed her followers: "I was telling [my chef] that I’m on keto so she made keto-friendly cauliflower pizza crust and cheesecake - both were delicious. They aren’t dairy-free, but sometimes you have to pick your battles."

During the pandemic, Kourtney also shared her unusual snacks, which included at least one box of gluten-free almond flour crackers, which she enjoys with almond butter, stored away in the kitchen.

She also enjoyed o live oil cake and a matcha latte mark, vegan cheese , sourdough bread with butter and honey, watermelon and mango sprinkled with special chilli powder, and celery with almond butter.
