Kourtney Kardashian’s kids ‘upset’ for missing Travis Barker proposal, claims Scott Disick

Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick has claimed their children were “upset” about Travis Barker’s proposal.

The 43-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s romantic engagement to Barker is set to be played out in upcoming epsidoes of Hulu’s, The Kardashians.

However, in a teaser ahead of next week’s epsiode, Kourtney’s ex suggested that their children - Mason, Penelope and Reign - didn’t understand why they weren’t involved with the engagement.

In the clips of next week’s show, Kourtney and her family expressed joy that Barker had proposed to the reality star at a beachside resort in Montecito, California. The group, which included Kris Jenner as well as her sisters, later came together to celebrate their engagement.

Footage then cut to a conversation between the sisters, during which Kendall Jenner asks Kourtney: “Do you have sympathy for Scott because it doesn’t feel like you do.”

Another scene then features Disick confiding to Khloe Kardashian about how he and the children felt about the recent proposal.

“They were upset. They didn’t understand why they weren’t there,” he told Khloe, before adding, “hopefully they’re invited to the wedding. Am I invited to the wedding?”

Disick and Kourtney dated on-and-off until 2015, but continued to maintain a close friendship after they split for good in order to co-parent their children. However, the dad-of-three recently admitted that he felt like he’d lost his best friend after she began dating Barker.

Although the pair have been friends for several years, they were first linked in December 2020. The couple have been inseparable ever since, and have taken their romance to the next level with their engagement as well as efforts to start a family.

At the start of April, the lovebirds also headed to Las Vegas where they held a mock wedding where they said their vows in front of an Elvis impersonator.

Speaking during a previous episode about how his ex-partner’s new romance had affected their relationship, Disick said: “It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically, but now it’s becoming a huge adjustment losing her as a best friend. Now we’re really just more co-parents. I’d say it’s probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”
