Kourtney Kardashian's cloud-like chair taps into 2025's most interesting furniture trend – it has the unique ability to improve spatial flow in any room

Goodbye, straight sillhouettes, there's a new, curved furniture shape on the horizon. Kourtney Kardashian nails the look with her cloud-like Alpha Club Chair from Paulin Paulin Paulin.

We spotted the accent chair idea in an Instagram post shared by the iconic furniture manufacturer.

The lines across the puffed material make her seat look almost like what we'd imagine sitting on a cloud to look (and feel) like. Its curved edges flow seamlessly into her glass walls that open to a verdant backyard. The overall effect is stunningly modern, yet organic.

According to interior designers, Kourtney's living room seating taps perfectly into current trends.

Lena Gierasinka, design expert at Barker and Stonehouse, explains: 'Furniture featuring sculptural elements and curved silhouettes has been popular for some time, and this is set to continue into the next season. Sofas and armchairs with gentle curves are proving to be particularly popular, owing to their ability to improve the spatial flow of a room, making the space seem softer and therefore less boxy and rigid.'

Furthermore, the interior design trend is easy to style in your home.

Lena recommends: 'To fully embrace the trend for curved furniture, pair your sofa with furniture that mirrors its organic shape, whether it’s a sideboard with rounded edges or a coffee table with a fluid silhouette. To keep the focus on the form of the furniture, dial down the colour palette and choose neutral tones of beiges and browns which work in harmony with the cossetting feel of the furniture to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.'

Curved furniture has been giving us inspiration for a while, and it still has so much to offer. Interesting shapes tap into our desire for something novel and intriguing. As usual, anything that strikes an emotional chord is forever timeless.
