Kourtney Kardashian announced that she's pregnant over the weekend and it has since been suggested that she was 'snubbed' by some of her family over the news.
The reality TV star, 44, shared that she's expecting a baby with her husband Travis Barker at a gig for his band Blink-182, where she held a sign that read: "Travis I'm pregnant".
She posted footage from the moment on her Instagram account, which prompted congratulatory messages from fans and comments from some of her siblings.
Fans however recently felt that Kourtney's announcement wasn't "acknowledged" by much her family, though most of them have since reacted to the post in some way.
Following the announcement, one person began a thread on Reddit : "Soooo…nobody but Kim has acknowledged Kourt's pregnancy ….not even Kris or Khloé…"
Kris Jenner, 67, and Khloé Kardashian, 38, are however understood to have now posted about the news on their Instagram Stories, and Kris has also liked Kourtney's post.
Youngest siblings Kendall Jenner, 27, and Kylie Jenner, 25, have both also liked the post, as has Kim Kardashian, 42. Kim and Kylie also reacted in the comments section.
It seems that Rob Kardashian, 36, is the only sibling to not address the news on Instagram, though his account states that his page isn't actually run by him anyway.
Some people had theorised that any initial potential silence from relatives may be because they weren't aware of the pregnancy. "What if this is how they found out," one said.
Another had responded recently: "I feel like this is the case." Whilst a third had commented: "I definitely feel like this is the case. Kim panicked and did the best she could".
A fourth wrote: "Part of me is wondering if this is how the family found out…" Another commented in the thread: "Should we take bets on this being a storyline next season?"
Others however dismissed the suggestion. One wrote: "There's no way. She's showing way too much. She was just hanging out with Kim". Another said: "How? She's visibly pregnant".
Some fans suggested there may be tension if Kourtney chose to announce the pregnancy her own way and not on their Hulu reality TV show The Kardashians.
One wrote: "I'm thinking they're p***ed because there was probably an opportunity to drop this on the show or something and Kourtney wanted to do it her way instead. Maybe surprised them too with announcing it that way."
Whilst one fan wrote: "I feel so sad for Kourt. This says a lot about her relationship with her family - estranged for the most part (only seeing each other when filming most likely) and complicated."
Amid the speculation, some fans defended the family, suggesting that they may have already congratulated Kourtney. One wrote: "Why should they go on IG and congratulate her when they see her and can call her?"
Another said: "They already knew about it and they probably already congratulated her privately. Kourtney was just letting the world know. Why do you guys act like this lmao. They don't HAVE to do everything publicly."
Another said: "Don't know why everyone is making a big deal". Another said: "Feels like ppl nowadays think if celebs don't post something it means there’s something wrong lol like all of em prob knows she's pregnant already."
The speculation among fans however also comes amid a source having told People that Kourtney's family were aware of the pregnancy and are "so happy" for her.
A source told the outlet recently: "[Kourtney] had happy tears when she told her family." The source added: "They have all known for a while. Everyone is so happy for her."
