Kourtney Kardashian has spoken out about why she doesn't share a house with her husband Travis Barker, despite the couple tying the knot back in May.
The reality star, 43, first married the 46-year-old Blink-182 drummer in an unofficial Las Vegas ceremony earlier this year. They then tied the knot in a lavish Italian ceremony in front of family and friends.
Kourtney has now revealed they are still living in separate houses, but added that they neighbour one another, as she opened up about her blended family's unique living situation.
Both Kourtney and Travis have children from previous relationships and have opted not to move in together so their kids can be "comfortable".
She explained: "I think we're in the place where we're figuring out how to blend our households and our kids.
"For the most part we're getting those things in place. We do family dinner every Sunday night with all the kids at his house," the Kardashians star said during an appearance on Dear Media's Not Skinny, Not Fat podcast on Tuesday.
Kourtney shares Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, seven, with her former partner Scott Disick. Travis shares Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Kourtney added: "There will be [a joint house].
"We want our kids to also feel really comfortable and they have both lived in their homes their wholes lives, for the most part, and they each have their rooms. And we are a block away."
Kourtney, who said this was a "special time" for their families, also revealed that she stays at Travis' house when her kids are at Scott's place.
She said: "I get up at 6 in the morning and I carpool every morning. And then I go straight to his house and have matcha, he has it ready for me.
"And then we have matcha and talk and hangout and workout together and then we start our day."
The TV personality also said her husband stops by her house every night. She said they are searching for a joint home but have yet to find the perfect one.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kourtney opened up about her relationship with her daughter Penelope and admitted they still sleep in the same bed.
"She’s slept with me every day since she was born and pretty much still does. Unless she has a friend sleep over or unless she leaves me to go sleep at Travis’ or Auntie Coco’s [Khloé] or Auntie Kiki’s [Kim]," she said.
