KOLKATA: Two persons, Sk Gurfan (40), a trader, and his friend, Jogendra Lal Arora (78), were arrested by Jorabagan police for allegedly being involved in the rape of a minor in the Anandapur area.
The victim (16) had come from Bihar to live with her parents at Jorabagan a few months ago, during the pandemic. On Saturday, Gurfan, her neighbour, allegedly convinced the girl to accompany him to Arora’s flat in Anandapur, where she was allegedly raped. The girl was dropped back at her house, after which she lodged an FIR against the accused. tnn
