Kodak Black among four people shot at Justin Bieber afterparty - reports

Rapper Kodak Black was shot and wounded outside a Los Angeles restaurant following a Justin Bieber concert, according to reports.

The gunfire erupted early on Saturday outside The Nice Guy restaurant, striking and injuring four men ages 60, 22, 20 and 19, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer Lizeth Lomeli said. Their names were not released, but NBC News reported rapper Kodak Black was among the wounded.

Los Angeles Police Department have asked witnesses to come forward to identify the gunman.

Officers responding to the scene found two victims, with paramedics taking them to hospital for treatment on non-life-threatening injuries. The two other victims also went to local hospitals and all four are listed as stable.

LAPD released a statement on its website, which read: "Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for an early morning shooting.

"On February 12, 2022, around 2:45 am, Wilshire Area officers responded to gunshots heard in the 400 block of North La Cienega Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located two victims of gunshot wounds.

"Preliminary investigation revealed there was a physical altercation between several individuals at the location. Gunshots were fired by an unknown suspect, who then fled south from the location.

"The suspect is described as a male black. No arrests have been made."

TMZ.com reported that Black, who was posing for photos with a group of people outside the restaurant when the brawl broke out, was shot in the leg. A message to his publicist at Atlantic Records has not been returned.

The party followed Bieber’s private concert at the Pacific Design Centre in West Hollywood, California as part of a Super Bowl-week party dubbed “Homecoming Weekend.”

The guests at the star-studded event included Jeff Bezos, his girlfriend TV host Lauren Sanchez, Hamilton actor Anthony Ramos and NFL Hall-of-Famer Tony Gonzalez.

The Hollywood Reporter reported Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin, Drake, Khloe Kardashian and Tobey Maguire were also among the celebrities seen entering the afterparty.
