Knives Out star Kate Hudson shares biggest issue with filming nude scenes

Kate Hudson has discussed her approach to filming nude scenes - explaining that she doesn’t mind it as long as it doesn’t draw too much attention to her boobs.

The 43-year-old Hollywood star has been appearing on screens since the ’90s and can soon be seen on Netflix in the murder mystery Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery - which includes the final on-screen appearance of the late Dame Angela Lansbury.

While out promoting the film, the topic of nude and love scenes was raised - with Kate explaining that she has a reasonably blasé approach to filming without her kit on.

However, she fears that saucy scenes could make her a target for lurid conversation - and she hopes this is something that can be avoided.

Discussing her nude scenes with The Sun on Sunday, Kate explained: “I don’t have an issue with nudity personally – I think it’s great.

“But I don’t want to be on a promo tour and all anyone wants to talk about is my boobs, and how hard was that.

“You don’t want the movie to be about that.”

While on the promo trail, Kate has been something of an open book about her life - including how she balances raising her three children who she shares with three different men.

The star shares 18-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, 11-year-old son Bingham with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy and 4-year-old daughter Rani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

In a recent interview, Kate said she wasn't concerned with convention, adding she was proud of the way her blended family were getting on with things.

"It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we're killing it," she mused.

"The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours."

“I'm not interested in forcing some conventional idea of love or marriage. My goal in life is that I want to feel love and I want to give love, but I'm also practical, so, one day at a time. I work really hard at relationships because I like them.”

She also reflected on her own upbringing and how her mother, Goldie Hawn’s partner, Kurt Russell helped raise her and her brother, Oliver.

Praising the couple for the way they've brought up her and brother, Kate said the acting icons were doing an "amazing job".

Kate married Black Crowes frontman Chris in December 2000 before welcoming son Ryder in 2004 but they split up a couple of years later, finalising their divorce in 2007.

She then began dating Muse musician Matt in 2010, before announcing their engagement in 2011.

The former couple welcome son Bingham later the same year, but in 2014 announced they'd decided to call it a day.

And Kate started dating her daughter Rani's dad Danny in 2016, but the pair had known each other for 20 years.
