Knicks guard Josh Hart is not a New York native, but he may as well be.
Between his time in college at Big East power Villanova and now as a professional alongside Wildcats teammate Jalen Brunson with the Knicks, Hart has played his fair share of games at Madison Square Garden.
After a midseason trade sent Hart to New York from Portland, reuniting him with Brunson, the 28-year-old hasn’t looked back. He’s fully embraced his new journey with the Knicks, becoming a key member of the rotation of an up-and-coming playoff team in the East.
Hart has embraced the New York culture so much, in fact, that he specialized his hair braids into the “NY” logo made famous by the Yankees. His new braids were captured during a timeout in New York’s Game 3 win over Cleveland on Friday night.

Hart has embraced New York and New York has certainly embraced him.
Hart and the Knicks will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Cavaliers when Game 4 tips off on Sunday.
