Klay Thompson returns, Warriors rout Dallas

SAN FRANCISCO— Rookie Jonathan Kuminga scored 22 points in 18 minutes off the bench to help the Golden State Warriors to a 130-92 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

Seven Warriors scored in double figures. Stephen Curry had 18 points to go with nine rebounds and seven assists. Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 17 and 14 points respectively. Klay Thompson, back in the lineup after a two-game absence, had 15 points in 26 minutes. Thompson had missed the previous game with soreness in his surgically repaired left knee.

For the Mavericks, Luka Doncic scored 25 points, 13 of them in the first quarter. Tim Hardaway Jr, who left the game after suffering a fracture in his left foot in the second quarter scored 10.

Golden State never trailed after taking the lead at 14-13 on a Wiggins drive with 5:30 left in the first quarter.

The Warriors (34-13) are 4-1 during their seven-game homestand and 22-4 at Chase this season. The Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night.
