Klay Thompson not satisfied with leading playoffs in made 3-pointers through four games

Despite the Golden State Warriors not being able to secure a win in game four with the chance to sweep the Denver Nuggets, Klay Thompson recorded his highest scoring total of the playoffs. The 32-year-old guard tallied 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the floor with four rebounds and two steals in 31 minutes.

For the fourth consecutive game, Thompson heated up from long distance, drilling seven triples on 11 attempts from beyond the arc. The Splash Brother has now hit five or more triples in three of the four playoff games in the series.

Through the first four games of the postseason, Thompson is leading the playoffs with the most made triples. Despite his fiery shooting to lead the start of the postseason, the three-time champion isn’t satisfied.

It’s been really awesome, but I’m not satisfied. It’s cool to lead the playoffs in threes and all that, but I’d rather lead the Finals in threes. So, still got a long way to go to get to that point. We still got a really really really big opportunity tomorrow and I’m just not satisfied with four big games of shooting. I want to do it for the whole playoffs.
