After stumbling into the All-Star break, the Golden State Warriors’ slide continued with back-to-back losses against the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
With a 2-6 record over their last eight games, the Warriors received a boost at practice on Wednesday with the arrival of two veteran leaders. Both Klay Thompson and Draymond Green joined the Warriors on their road swing in Dallas.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green made it to Dallas. Both are currently taking part in a long Warriors practice. Green continues to edge a bit closer, do a bit more on court.

Green has missed the last 23 games for the Warriors with a back/disc injury and there’s still no target date for his return to the court, but Steve Kerr recently expressed wanting to have the four-time All-Star around the team.
While the Warriors won’t get back Green before meeting Luka Doncic and the Mavericks on Tuesday, Thompson looks to be ready to return to the court. The 32-year-old shooting guard has missed Golden State’s last two losses due to a general illness.
When speaking to reporters at practice in Dallas, Thompson confirmed he would play on Thursday against the Mavericks.
Klay Thompson will return tomorrow, he says: “I’m playing. I didn’t come all the way to Dallas to watch.”
