KitchenAid has just unveiled its 2024 Design Series Mixer, and I’m absolutely obsessed.
You’re probably familiar with their best stand mixer, available in vibrant shades like candy pink, mint, and retro red, paired with the classic stainless steel bowl. However, with this latest release, KitchenAid has taken a bold step into ‘natural luxury,’ reimagining its timeless design with a chic new look.
KitchenAid's new mixer is a deep forest green hue with brass-coated hub covers and glossy green knobs – a beautiful contrast to the matte finish. A rustic, walnut wood bowl replaces the traditional stainless steel.
KitchenAid say each bowl will be 'one-of-a-kind', due to the distinctive grain pattern. The final touch is the delicate leaf illustration on the hub cover, bringing a truly artisanal 'hand-crafted' feel to this powerful appliance. It could be the perfect way to update your kitchen for fall.

It's already out of stock at KitchenAid USA, hardly surprising since this is potentially the chicest stand mixer on the market right now. It's available at Williams Sonoma and KitchenAid UK – but I have a feeling it's going to sell out fast!
KitchenAid's new design is certainly on the expensive side, but the wide range of mixer attachments you can tack on (pasta makers, meat grinders and ice cream churners) adds exceptional value. It's no wonder the Artisan mixer was voted our best stand mixer of 2024.
When it comes to durability, KitchenAid's die-cast metal construction means it's solid, sturdy and built to last. However, like many naturally luxurious pieces, the walnut wood bowl will require some TLC. KitchenAid say, 'Regular seasoning of the bowl with food-safe wood conditioners will maintain its natural beauty and durability.' I can’t wait to test it out soon and update you with a full review.
