An Easter Spring Fair has raised more than £900 towards the Kirkcudbright Parish Church Redevelopment Project.
Saturday’s sale in the church hall saw stallholders enjoy a steady trade for their table top wares.
Local craftsmen and women exhibited work including ceramics, painted glassware, botanicals, Fairtrade, art, preserves and hand-turned wood.
A draw to win a portrait of your pet, an Easter trail for children and tea, coffee and cakes also featured.
Lead fundraiser Tracy Jones was “thrilled” when the pennies were counted up and the total reached £901.31.
She told the News afterwards: “I have a super bank of volunteers behind me.
“The table top people were very pleased with their sales and the feedback was brilliant.
“It was simply a lovely, party day.”
Tracy added: “I would like to thank all our volunteers, everybody who came along to support us and all the helpers in the kitchen as well.”
Next fundraiser for the project is a stall at the Spring Plant Fair in Kirkcudbright on May 1.
“I look forward to seeing everybody there,” Tracy said.
