Georgia’s Kirby Smart has not taken much time to sit back, relax and enjoy winning his first national championship as a head coach.
Instead, he’s been hitting the road (or the air) recruiting to set Georgia up for future success.
On Monday night, Smart took three assistant coaches to Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, Louisiana to attend the basketball game of 5-star 2023 quarterback Arch Manning.
Smart was accompanied by offensive line coach Matt Luke, offensive coordinator Todd Monken, and offensive assistant Buster Faulkner.

Manning, the grandson of Archie Manning and the nephew of NFL greats Peyton and Eli Manning, ranks as the nation’s No. 1 overall player in the class of 2023.
Georgia does have a pretty crowded quarterback room at the moment with Stetson Bennett, JT Daniels, Brock Vandagriff and incoming 4-star Gunner Stockton. But reports have circulated that Daniels is expected to hit the transfer portal and you can never be too safe at the position.
