'Kings' - Man City fans react to Aguero and Kompany Premier League Hall of Fame induction

Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany have become the first representatives of Manchester City to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.

The legendry striker and heroic club captain, who won five and four Premier League titles respectively, are joined by Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, Ian Wright, Patrick Vieira, Didier Drogba and Wayne Rooney as part of this year's cohort.

The Hall of Fame was established in 2021 as a way for the Premier League to recognise and celebrate the 'exceptional skill and talent of individuals who have graced the Premier League since its inception.'

Both Aguero and Kompany have expressed their delight at receiving an honour, as have many City fans online. Here's the best of what Blues had to say.

@Fordiinho: Best defender and best striker in the history of the Premier League

@AmaraTu70430335: Vincent Kompany, a captain's captain. You will always be remembered for your dedicated service at City.

@BanterDegen: If Aguero was fit & still playing for city, then this league would of been done & dusted already.

@DrewThorpe97: I'm still somewhat in denial that we even signed him, the guy is a superhero.

@rooking6k: Martin Tyler said "I swear you'll never see anything like this ever again" on that 93:20 Aguero goal and I haven't.
