A DUP MP is handing out 6,000 coronation certificates at primary schools across Co Derry.
East Derry MP Gregory Campbell has embarked on what he described as a "whirlwind tour" of primary schools across his constituency to hand out the special certificates.
He said around 6,000 children spread across 28 schools will be given the commemorative certificates.

Mr Campbell said: "Having had an extremely positive reaction to previous similar certificates for the Queen's Jubilee and the Northern Ireland Centenary I thought it would be appropriate to have one done to commemorate the Coronation in early May. The response has been extremely good with thousands of children being able to have a keepsake on which each pupil can have their own name added, this will not be just for the event itself, but for the future."
"I had the inscription 'From Generation Unto Generation' put on the certificate to mark the nature of what is an historic occasion with the Crown moving from the passing of Her Majesty the Queen last year to King Charles and now the event being acknowledged by the next generation of the Nations' children."
The DUP MP added: "28 Primary schools with around 6,000 children from all backgrounds will have the certificate to treasure for many years to come, and I would like to thank all the Principals and staff who made me so welcome on what had to be a whirlwind tour during what is an intensely busy time in the normal course of events."
