The King's coronation will be a big cause for celebration all across the country.
On Saturday King Charles III will officially be crowned monarch at a ceremony at Westminster Abbey which is set to be watched by millions across the UK and the globe.
If you're planning your own street party to celebrate you might want to nip out on the day to buy some bits and bobs.
However, due to the significance of the event, and the fact it's a bank holiday weekend, some may be wondering if shops will have different opening and closing times.

Fortunately, there are no obligations for shops and supermarkets to be closed throughout the King's Coronation.
This means you'll be able to do any last-minute shopping to have everything you need to celebrate the occasion. Here are all the opening hours for the big supermarkes including Aldi, Asda, Tesco, Morrisos, Lidl, M&S and Sainsbury's.
Aldi
Opening hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday remain unchanged. The budget supermarket's opening hours on Monday, May 8 will be 8am to 8pm.
However, opening hours may vary depending on store location. You can check individual store opening hours here.
ASDA
ASDA stores across the UK will be open as normal across the coronation weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, May 8, the majority of Asda stores will be opening 7am to 8pm - although some may open earlier and stay open later.

Tesco
Tesco stores across the UK will be open its normal hours over the coronation weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday this means openining between 6am or 7am and closing between 10pm and midnight on Saturday, and on Sunday opening from 10am until 4pm.
On Monday most large stores will open from 8am to 6pm, while some may stay open until 8pm.

M&S
M&S stores will open as normal on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. M&S and M&S Foodhalls will also be open on Monday, May 8, but opening times for stores vary. Lidl
Lidl stores will open as normal on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. On bank holiday Monday (May 8) most stores across England and Wales will open between 8am and 8pm, while stores in Scotland will remain open as normal.
Some store opening times may vary and customers are advised to check the store finder on Lidl’s website, for details on their local branch.
Morrisons
Morrisons opening hours will remain unchanged over the coronation weekend on Saturday and Sunday. On bank holiday Monday, the majority of Morrisons stores will be open from 7am until 8pm in England and Wales however this may vary from store to store.
Scottish stores, however, will trade under their usual opening hours of 7am until 10pm on Monday.

Sainsbury's
Hours over the coronation weekend on Saturday and Sunday will be unchanged, but superstores in England and Wales will open under shorter hours on Monday, May 8. The majority of its stores will be open from 8am until 8pm while Scottish stores will be open for a little longer, until 10pm.
Sainsbury’s Local convenience stores are scheduled to be open from 7am until either 10pm or 11pm this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Check your local Sainsbury's opening hours here.
