King Charles 'may ban Harry and Meghan from Coronation' over Netflix documentary

King Charles could be set to "cut all ties" with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex as their six-part documentaries airs today on Netflix.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliam said the new King may even ban his son and daughter-in-law from his Coronation in May next year.

The couple's multimillion deal with Netflix sees the first set of three documentaries beamed into people's living rooms today.

And although the rest of the royal family are going about their daily visits today, the American-based couple's show is expected to go down badly with them.

Mr Fitzwilliam, speaking to the Sun, said the Royal Family will just carry on regardless with "business as usual" as they always do.

He said: "There is absolutely no doubt now that the Sussexes are claiming there was a war against them.

"We've got clear dynamite in there - it would be impossible to take that out of context.

"We haven't seen it, but it's so obvious. Christmas is bookended by what's probably attacks - it's grim.

"The question is, what can the royals do about it? Harry will always remain a prince.

"The only thing they can do is not invite them to the Coronation, and cut all ties - a clean cut from the Sussexes. Essentially, that's all they can do."

In the documentary, Prince Harry claimed the royals asked why Meghan should be "protected" from media speculation, alleging he was told it was something all royal women - including Princess Diana and Kate - had to go through.

Speaking in episode two of Harry & Meghan, the Duke claimed the Palace told them to say nothing when it came to stories printed about them - which is in line with the family's 'Never Complain, Never Explain' motto.

He tells the camera that his relatives said their wives had to endure press intrusion in the early days of their relationships, so when he started dating Meghan she shouldn't expect any special treatment.
