In a recent statement released by Buckingham Palace, King Charles III has expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support and well-wishes he received following the announcement of his cancer diagnosis. The 75-year-old monarch thanked his supporters for their kind thoughts, emphasizing the comfort and encouragement such messages have provided during this challenging time.

Having personally experienced the impact of cancer, King Charles III acknowledged the importance of promoting public understanding and shining a light on organizations that support cancer patients and their families. He commended the tireless care and dedication of medical professionals and expressed his admiration for their work.

The King's cancer diagnosis came to light a week after he underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate. During his hospital stay, a separate issue of concern was identified, leading to subsequent tests confirming a form of cancer. The monarch has now commenced a schedule of regular treatments and, as advised by doctors, will be postponing public-facing duties. However, he will continue to fulfill his State obligations and official paperwork as usual.

Expressing gratitude to his medical team for their prompt intervention, King Charles III remains positive about his treatment and eagerly looks forward to resuming his full public duties as soon as possible. By sharing his diagnosis, he aimed to prevent speculation and contribute to public understanding for those worldwide who are affected by cancer.

Prince Harry, the King's estranged son, promptly flew to the UK upon hearing the news to be by his father's side. Despite their strained relationship since stepping away from royal duties, Prince Harry made a quick visit to Clarence House after landing at Heathrow Airport in London. Meanwhile, his wife, Meghan Markle, stayed with their children at their home in Montecito, California.

Prince William, Harry's brother, also expressed gratitude for the support his family received following Charles' cancer diagnosis and his wife, Kate Middleton's, recent abdominal surgery. Speaking at a gala for London's Air Ambulance Charity, Prince William thanked everyone for their kind messages of support and emphasized their significance.

The specific details of King Charles III's cancer diagnosis have not been disclosed by the Palace. However, it has been reported that his prognosis is positive, with the cancer being caught very early. In fact, when the King and Queen Camilla departed Clarence House together, they appeared to be in good spirits.

As the King continues his treatments and focuses on his recovery, we send our warmest wishes and support to him and his family. The strength and resilience displayed by King Charles III are inspiring, and we hope for his swift return to full health and public duty.
