King Charles 'has totally outplayed Harry and Meghan' with response to Netflix doc

A royal commentator has claimed that "magnanimous" King Charles III "has totally outplayed Harry and Meghan " with his response to their bombshell Netflix documentary.

The documentary series, which concluded on December 15, delved into several royal revelations which have reportedly not gone unnoticed by His Majesty and his son Prince William.

These shocking scenes have led many viewers to believe that there was no way back into royal life for the Sussexes.

However, reports paint a different picture, with claims that King Charles will be sending invitations to Harry and Meghan for his coronation on May 6 next year.

A source told the Telegraph: “All members of the family will be welcome.”

In response, royal commentator Daniela Elser said that the move "goes a long way towards making the Royal Family look magnanimous and warm-hearted Royal Family, willing to be the much bigger people and to look past that Netflix nonsense."

The King is even set to “mention” the Sussexes in his first Christmas speech, recorded after the first round of episodes from the Netflix docuseries aired on December 8.

Elser, writing for News.au, continued: "The same report stated even after the final episodes aired, there was no desire to make any changes to his carefully considered message in the wake of the increasingly ferocious attacks”.

"The Palace’s Sun Tzu-worthy strategy goes beyond the Sussexes’ inclusion in next year’s big day to them doing something else that has taken some by surprise. Absolutely nothing.

"The only line that has emerged from the Palace has been a firm 'no comment', a position from which they will reportedly not be budging."

The news comes as it emerged that the Prince of Wales reportedly "has no plans to speak to Harry" after the latter's claims in the series.

One of Harry's claims include that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother” after it issued a statement denying a story that William had bullied him out of the Royal Family.

Harry also claimed William left him "terrified" after screaming and shouting at him during the Sandringham summit.

King Charles came under fire in the series after Harry accused him of lying at the tense ‘Megxit’ crisis meeting with the Queen in January 2020.

A friend of William's told the Times: “I don’t think a great deal has really surprised anyone. It has been pretty obvious that things have been very strained for a while. There is sadness at where things currently are with his brother.”
