King Charles recently conveyed his appreciation for the overwhelming public support he has received since his cancer diagnosis. During a meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace, the monarch expressed his gratitude for the numerous messages and cards he has received from well-wishers. The King mentioned that the outpouring of support had deeply moved him, even bringing him to tears.

The palace released a video of the meeting, showing Sunak greeting the King and remarking on his well-being. In a light-hearted moment, Charles joked that his appearance was all thanks to mirrors. Despite his health challenges, King Charles has continued to fulfill his duties, including holding his weekly audience with the Prime Minister.

King Charles was diagnosed with cancer on February 5, following a medical procedure for an enlarged prostate. While the palace did not disclose details about the type or severity of the cancer, it stated that the King had commenced regular treatments and would temporarily reduce public appearances.

Prime Minister Sunak expressed his well wishes for the King's speedy recovery, emphasizing the country's support for him. In response to the overwhelming support, King Charles released a heartfelt message thanking everyone for their kind thoughts and encouragement.

Despite his health challenges, King Charles made a public appearance at his Sandringham Estate alongside Queen Camilla, showcasing his resilience and determination. The King's openness about his diagnosis and his gratitude for the support reflect his strength and the unity of the nation in standing behind him during this difficult time.
