The RAF flypast marking the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camila has been scaled back.
The Met Office said many southern parts of the UK were likely to be cloudy with some outbreaks of rain throughout Saturday afternoon. This has raised fears the planned military flypast of more than 60 aircraft over Buckingham Palace at 2.30pm on Saturday would be called off.
On Saturday afternoon the Royal Air Force tweeted: "For the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen, the UK Armed Forces will conduct a flypast over Buckingham Palace, subject to weather, serviceability, & operational commitments."

Due to the adverse weather, it was decided the flypast would be scaled back, it will now only last between two to three minutes, instead of six, and will not have Spitfires of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and without the Lancaster bombers.
But it will still have The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team – the Red Arrows - and 16 helicopters.
