King Charles had a cheeky three word response to Queen Camilla giving him an order during their balcony appearance, according to one lip reader.
The monarch was snapped with his family on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Trooping the Colour parade.
They watched the spectacular RAF flypast that took place around 1pm on Saturday, 17 June.
Thousands of fans gathered to watch the display which featured around 70 separate military aircrafts.
But, as the recently-crowned King and Queen stepped out, Camilla was spotted by eagle-eyed royal watchers putting a hand on Charles’ shoulder and pulling him back slightly.
As she did so, lip reader Jeremy Freeman has claimed she actually gave him an order.
He said that Queen Camilla said: "Don't walk away, you know I can't walk on my throne/own."
To which, Charles replied: “Oh deary me.”
On Saturday’s event, Charles became the first monarch in over three decades to take part in Trooping the Colour whilst on horseback.
It was the first time a reigning monarch has ridden at Trooping the Colour since Queen Elizabeth's horse Burmese carried her during the 1986 ceremony.
He took the royal salute as Colonel in Chief of the Household Division's seven regiments during the ceremony, staged on Horse Guards Parade, as members of the royal family and 8,000 spectators watched.
He was joined on horseback by the royal colonels - the Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards; the Princess Royal, Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel of The Blues and Royals; and the Duke of Edinburgh, riding for the first time in his role as Colonel of the 1st Battalion London Guards, formed last year.
Travelling in a carriage was the Queen, who is Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, and the Princess of Wales as Colonel of the Irish Guards, along with Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Prince Louis.
All the usual pomp and pageantry was on display and the young Prince Louis once again stole the show as he saluted the crowds.
It was a much slimmed down family that appeared on the balcony with just working royals.
As they watched the formation of planes roar overhead, the five-year-old could be seen saluting the crowds as well as pulling a range of excitable faces.
For the outing, Louis looked dapper in a shirt and tie with with his trademark shorts, and as they prepared to leave Horse Guards, Kate could be seen appearing to tell the five-year-old to sit up as she fussed with his tie.
Even BBC commentator Huw Edwards remarked that Kate was "tidying up" Louis before they headed back to the palace for the finale.
