King Charles is reportedly "breathing a sigh of relief" over Harry and Meghan's alleged decision to stop producing any projects relating to the Royal Family, a source has claimed.
It was reported earlier this week that the Duke and Duchess, who previously released a tell-all Netflix docuseries about their time in the Royal Family followed by Harry's bombshell memoir Spare, now plan to change direction with their content as part of their deals with Netflix and Spotify.
According to the New York Post, Charles is "breathing a sigh of relief" over their change of direction with royal correspondent Charles Rae telling GB News that the royals have previously had to be "careful with what they say" around the couple.
Harry and Meghan have reportedly already begun producing content that is not linked to their life as royals after they decided to quit the Firm in 2020 and relocate to the US, the Daily Express reports.
Last year Meghan released her groundbreaking podcast Archetypes where she and other female celebrity guests break down and discuss the stereotypes used to define women.
Their other non-fiction docuseries "Live to Lead" was released on Netflix on New Year's Eve 2022 and featured a number of interviews with inspirational figures.
Speaking of Harry and Meghan's decision to move on, a source told The Sun: "That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say."
Harry made a fleeting visit home to the UK for his father's historical Coronation last month but it's believed the pair never had a chance to properly catch up on the day as the Duke jetted back out to the US just hours after the official crowning.
Charles and Harry's paths almost coincidentally crossed back in March when Harry made an appearance at London's High Court for a hearing into a case against Associated Newspapers Limited.
The King was in the UK unexpectedly at the same time as his visit to France was postponed last minute due to large protests gong on in the country.
Charles and Camilla travelled to Germany a couple of days later for the planned second leg of the tour which was able to continue as normal.
Although he won't be able to reconcile with his younger son, the King is expected to make use of his peaceful time away in Romania by indulging in some of his favourite pastimes without Camilla.
His home reportedly has no television or Wi-Fi and he will spend his days alone painting, reading and walking.
It is believed his wife will also be enjoying some time to herself at her own Wiltshire getaway Ray Mill which she purchased following her divorce from Andrew Parker-Bowles in the 1990s.
