A Dumfries barber is offering free haircuts to those in financial hardship.
Nevzat Yilmaz, known locally as Kurdish Jimmy, said people can come in with no questions asked.
He said: “I’m doing free haircuts for people who have less money or are out of work because of Covid and I’d like to help them out.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time. At Christmas I do it and I usually and have done for years to help people out.”
