A woman was told to "follow me" by an Asda worker after she was spotted looking upset in the store.
Sue, who works in an Asda store in Ellesmere Port, was approached by a woman to see if the £20 note she couldn't find, that she was going to use to pay for her electricity bill, had been handed in to staff.
When Sue told the customer, who had young children, nothing had been handed in, the woman became "upset". Sue, who has worked for the supermarket chain for 25 years, stepped in to help, reports LiverpoolEcho.

Adele, the store's community champion, said: "The lady had young children, so when Sue asked her what she had needed the money for, the lady replied ‘for electric’. Sue, out of the kindness of her own heart, then replied ‘follow me' and took her to the cashpoint in the store, took £10 from her own bank account, and gave it to the customer."
The woman was said to be taken aback by Sue's gesture and returned to the store the following day. Adele added: The lady was taken aback by her kindness. She was so grateful that she returned to the store the next day to give Sue back her £10."
Sue’s manager Caroline added: “I am so proud of Sue and her amazing random act of kindness, you are such a credit to our store.” Caroline has nominated Sue for an Asda service superstar award.
