Dancing on Ice star Kimberly Wyatt reportedly called Nicole Scherzinger every day in a desperate bid to reunite the Pussycat Dolls.
Former singer and dancer Kimberly, 40, rose to fame as a member of the Pussycat Dolls, one of the biggest selling girl groups of all time.
The group, which also comprised of Nicole Scherzinger , Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton, sold millions of records worldwide after their first single Don't Cha became a global hit.
But in 2010 they announced that they'd split, amid rumours there was a rift behind the scenes.
Kimberly said she felt overshadowed by lead singer Nicole and accused music bosses of favouritism after the group's last two singles featured Scherzinger's name as well as the band's.
She told Digital Spy : "It's true, there has always been a lot of focus on Nicole, which has been hard to deal with sometimes. This group was created with a foundation, they knew exactly what they wanted and they had Nicole as the focus. Every video and stage performance that we've done, Nicole has been our leader.

"I wasn't in videos like I wanted and wasn't seen in the way I was hoping, which has been the same for all the other girls too. I don't really make any of the decisions, I'm in the group and can voice my opinions to a degree but at the end of the day it is a business and there are a lot of chefs in the kitchen that run the Pussycat Dolls."
In 2012, Kimberly told The Mirror that she hadn't spoken to Nicole, and wouldn't be going to watch her in her new judging role on The X Factor .
She called Nicole "someone I work with, rather than a friend" though she added they did become "close" while touring together.
The following year, the former bandmates still weren't speaking.
"I have not spoken to or seen Nicole in quite some time... and that’s not through lack of trying," Kimberly admitted.
"I’ve made enough first moves now, I feel the ball is in her court."
But in 2018, when bandmate Ashley's dad died, Kimberly said she'd "do anything and everything" to bring the group back together.
Kimberley called Nicole every day and would even leave voicemail messages when she didn't answer.
Speaking to The Sun in 2018, Kimberly said: "Pussycat Dolls is a massive focus of mine and I would love to share a stage with my beautiful, empowered, talented friends again.
"It is a bit confusing. There's been lots of chat. Lots of things in the works. We're just waiting for that catalyst that sends us into the stratosphere again.
"I am working on it. Nicole is aloof sometimes but I am calling her every single day, even if she doesn't answer I am leaving a voicemail because I am reaching out because I am adamant about bringing us females together especially for Ashley who has been through so much at the minute."
After months of speculation, the band finally reunited in 2019, and Kimberly and Nicole put their differences aside for some stellar performances and a brand new single, React.
The group also had plans for a reunion tour but this was officially cancelled due to the pandemic.
Now, Kimberly is one of 12 celebrities taking part in the 2022 season of Dancing on Ice - and she says she had a trick up her sleeve that's going to set her apart from the contestants.
She told The Sun : "Michael Jackson has the moonwalk, but in Pussycat Dolls I created the standing oversplit and now it’s become a language among dancers around the world.
"So many girls do it, boys do it and always tag me and it’s a thing, so I’m quite grateful that I’ve been able to create that and grateful to be turning 40 and be a mum of three and still get an opportunity to stretch my limbs like that."
* Dancing on Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV
