Kim Kardashian says North styled family Vogue shoot as siblings' outfits were 'boring'

Kim Kardashian has revealed how her eight-year-old daughter North acted as a personal stylist for her siblings for their Vogue Hong Kong shoot last month.

Appearing on Ellen, set to air on Wednesday, the television personality, 41, told the host how North took creative control for the photoshoot after being unimpressed with her younger brothers and sister's 'boring' outfit choices.

Kim said North raided Saint, six, Chicago, four, and two-year-old Psalm's closets and ditched their black ensemble for bright and colourful garments.

"North styled the whole thing. They were all going to wear black but she walked out and was like "this is so boring I cant believe this is what we're going to wear," Kim said.

"I'm going to style everyone'. She went in everyone's closet and picked it all out.

"Any time I have to do a photoshoot with my kids or the cousins it's like the worst day of my life and I always say I'll never do it again, but then you get amazing pictures like this.

"It was meant to be a group shot but no one wanted to take pictures together and everyone was crying and wanted me to hold them so that's what we got, but it's so perfect and cute."

Elsewhere in the interview, Kim spoke about how she will wear anything when she is out and "doesn't care how comfortable" it is for the sake of fashion.

She said: "I'll be in pyjamas and sweats when im home but when I go out out I'll wear literally anything.

"I don't care how uncomfortable or if I have to wear a diaper and not go to the bathroom."

Kim said being in her 40s has made her realise "it’s okay to choose to do what makes you happy" in the accompanying interview to her Vogue Hong Kong shoot.

She said: "In my 20s, it was about embracing all of the craziness and mistakes you make when you’re younger, you live your journey and hopefully learn from your experiences, so you don’t make the same mistakes over and over.

"My 30s were definitely about finding my own self-confidence – to care less about what everyone else thought and to just live in the moment.

"My 40s are about being Team Me – for a long time, I did so many things just to make others happy."

Kim recently became Instagram official with comedian Pete Davidson after being declared legally single by a US court during the latest stage of her divorce proceedings with Kanye West.

Since their split, the reality star said she was focusing on eating better, exercising more and enjoying time with her family.
