Pete Davidson admitted he got his first spray tan ahead of hitting the Met Gala red carpet with girlfriend Kim Kardashian on Monday night.
The comedian, 28, turned heads as he arrived with Kim, 41, sporting a bronzed look, with fans commenting how he has undergone somewhat of a Hollywood glow-up since being with the television personality.
Talking about his first experience with fake tan, Pete said on stage at Netflix Is A Joke: "Want to know something really funny? This is the weirdest sentence I've ever said. I couldn't put make up on for this because I got a spray tan.
"Which I think is the weirdest thing I've ever said, ever. I've never got a spray tan before, I asked my boy I was do I do my d**k and ass? Like I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
"Do I get like one of those like Borat f***ing speedos? I had no idea. My boy was like leave it white, more impressive that way. "
And fans couldn't help but comment on his makeover on Twitter as they watched him arrive on the red carpet.
One wrote: "Does Pete Davidson have a spray tan?", while another added: "I know a spray tan when I see one Pete Davidson."
A third chimed: "Pete Davidson has got so much cuter now that Kim makes him get spray tans", while a fourth added: "The fact that Pete Davidson got a spray tan to be able to stand next to Kim K on a red carpet".
Kim stole the show as she took to the red carpet in Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress the actress wore during her famous 1962 performance of Happy Birthday to US president John F Kennedy.
Sharing pictures of the gown on Instagram, Kardashian revealed the skin-tight gown was adorned with more than 6,000 crystals, hand-sewn by costumier Jean Louis.
"I am so honoured to be wearing the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962 to sing Happy Birthday to President John F Kennedy," she wrote.
"It is a stunning skin-tight gown adorned with more than 6,000 hand-sewn crystals by costumier Jean Louis.
"Thank you Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for giving me the opportunity to debut this evocative piece of fashion history for the first time since the late Marilyn Monroe wore it.
"I am forever grateful for this moment."
Pete and Kim met when she was still married to Kanye West as they all attended the birthday party of Kid Cudi – aka Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi on 31 January 2019.
However it wasn’t until after the collapse of Kim and Kanye’s marriage in early 2021 that the pair embarked on a romance.
The duo were thrust together on screens for an episode of Saturday Night Live which aired with Kim as the guest host back in October last year.
That same month, the early sparks of romance were said to have ignited and come ablaze as the couple became boyfriend and girlfriend.
They went Instagram official in March.
