Kim Kardashian reveals who is in her family group chat and surprise exchanges

Kim Kardashian has revealed who is - and apparently who isn't - in her family group chat after sharing a personal message on social media.

The reality TV star, 42, shared a screenshot from her family's private group conversation following an earthquake in California.

The SKIMS founder told her nearest and dearest the 4.2 magnitude earthquake in the early hours of January 25 "woke me up," with mum Kris Jenner saying the same.

The group, dubbed the "OG's Positive People" showed a number of initials to indicate who was involved in the chat. Among those showing up was KJ, KJ, KJ, KK, RK and an image of Minnie Mouse.

Detectives among her fan base noticed that this stood for, mum Kris, half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Rob Kardashian, with the Disney symbol being older sister Kourtney Kardashian, who is known to be a huge fan of the franchise.

However, fans were quick to point out that those missing from the group including Kris' reported ex Corey Gamble and Kendall and Kylie's dad - and the other sisters' former stepfather - Caitlyn Jenner.

Caitlyn has seemingly been distant from the family in recent years, while Kris and Corey's reported split is yet to be publicly confirmed.

The message showed Kendall was the first to check in on her family following the incident, asking if everyone was ok.

Kim simply replied: "Woke me up," as Kris added: "I’m good…woke me up also."

Kendall seemed more bothered by what had happened, saying it had left her shaking. "I ducking hate those things," she revealed before mum Kris asked how strong it was.

Kim went on to confirm she was "all good" and uploaded the interaction on her Instagram Stories along with the caption: "family group chats at 2am when we all get woken up by an earthquake".

She signed off her post with a love heart emoji.

The earthquake was recorded 16 kilometres south of Malibu Beach at a depth of 14 kilometres. An aftershock happened immediately after at 2.03am, but with a magnitude of 3.5.

Two smaller quakes happened in the following moments, but no injuries or damage had been reported.
