Kim Kardashian recalls being gifted her sister's 'life savings'

Kim Kardashian received financial support from her sister

Khloe Kardashian gifted her "life savings" to Kim Kardashian following her split from Damon Thomas.

The 44-year-old beauty has revealed that she was left in a desperate financial situation, at the age of 21, after divorcing her first husband - but Khloe was on-hand to help her sibling.

During the latest episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim shared: "When Khloe was maybe four or five years old, she got this piggy bank in the shape of a Coca-Cola bottle. We would put so much money in it.

"When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out and had no money. I was like 21 and she gave me her Coke bottle.

"We were up all night counting it and it was $6,000 and it was enough for me to get a down payment on my apartment. She gave me her life savings at age 21."

Khloe, 40, still has vivid memories of supporting Kim in the aftermath of her split.

The reality TV star shared: "She was crying in my room and I was just like, 'I have this so let’s take what is in here and go to the bank to cash it. Let’s use this money for your divorce'.

"I gave her all that I got and hopefully helped her."

Meanwhile, Kim recently revealed that she has "a list" of dating must-haves.

The brunette beauty - who was married to Damon between 2000 and 2004 - admitted to being very particular about who she dates.

During an appearance on 'The World's First Podcast', Kim shared: "My absolute red flag is just when someone doesn’t treat other people - even when no one is watching - with respect. No matter who they are, what they do."

Kim also acknowledged that she's looking for a "very secure person".

She said: "It must not be easy coming into my life. They have to be a very secure person. I want our morals and values to really align."
